What Is Yuva Sangam?

Yuva Sangam is more than an event. It is a meeting of minds, ideas and purpose. It brings together students, professionals, entrepreneurs, creators, athletes and young people from different walks of life on one common platform.

There are thousands of young people around us who want to do something meaningful. Sometimes, all that is missing is the right people, the right environment and the right direction.

About Rashtriya
Swayamsevak Sangh

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh works towards organising society and developing individuals with character, discipline, social responsibility and a spirit of service towards the nation.

For generations, countless swayamsevaks have contributed across different areas of national life — through social service, education, rural development, disaster relief, community initiatives and nation-building activities.

Yuva Sangam carries forward this spirit while creating a platform that speaks to the aspirations, questions and opportunities of today's young generation.

शाखा

The Shakha

The Sangh's work rests on one simple, daily practice — the shakha. One hour, on open ground, in your own neighbourhood. Exercise and games, the ghosh, songs, discussion, and the prarthana before the bhagwa dhwaj.

There are no membership rolls and no fees. Whoever comes is a swayamsevak — one who offers himself. Those who take on responsibility are karyakartas. What is built there is sanskar and seva: character, and the habit of service.

Nation-building through the building of character. Yuva Sangam is that same idea, opened out to a wider circle of young Bharat.

पंच परिवर्तन

Panch Parivartan

In its centenary year, the Sangh has placed five transformations at the centre of its work across Bharat. These are the changes it asks every swayamsevak to begin in his own life and locality.

सामाजिक समरसताSamajik Samarasata — social harmony, lived in daily conduct.
कुटुम्ब प्रबोधनKutumb Prabodhan — the awakening of the family.
पर्यावरणParyavaran — care of water, of trees, of the earth around us.
स्व का बोध — स्वदेशीSwa ka Bodh — a sense of self, expressed through Swadeshi.
नागरिक कर्तव्यNagarik Kartavya — the ordinary duties of a citizen.
शताब्दी वर्षShatabdi Varsh — the Sangh's centenary year, Vijayadashami 2025 to Vijayadashami 2026.
